We are a grassroots group working together to inform our neighbors and elected local and state officials of the disastrous consequences of unregulated short-term rentals (STR) to our community. We care about the culture and character of Indian Rocks Beach and believe that our town’s future needs the active involvement of its citizens to determine our destiny. Neighborhoods are for neighbors living in homes, not transient strangers in homes acting as unstaffed motels. Investor-owned, full-time STRs with no actual residents create a disaster for the future of our community and are the result of abhorrent public policy. STRs bring uncontrolled noise, street parking, trash, parties and overcrowding. They are changing the character of Indian Rocks Beach by running off long-time residents and destroying the housing market and affordability. They should be strictly regulated and taxed as the commercial properties that they plainly are. We support fair and common-sense rules and regulations pertaining to the industry within Indian Rocks Beach.
Connecting concerned citizens and victims of the Short Term Rental wave that's invading our Indian Rocks Beach Neighborhood. Dedicated to keeping the charm and safety of our quiet Indian Rocks Beach Community.
We are always looking for neighbors to help our cause. Keeping our family neighborhoods a safe community instead of transient party hotels. Help in our fight and volunteer a way that best suits you.
We can not accomplish our goals without a strong community voice, help and support from you, our neighbors. Thank you in advance for your dedication of time and support that makes this fight possible.
